Sooo… We haven’t posted in awhile, sorry! But, we’ve been making great progress with getting Vie ready!
Some things we’ve done since last time:
We happened to go to REI on a sale day and got a sweet XL Thule roof box 20% off
Cees immediately went home to make sure all our gear and “everythings” will fit.
Also, I finally hung the curtains we made out of the drop cloths from our wedding table cloths. I used hemp to string them up and also for the tie backs.
Cees and Tanner used the same barn wood that we used to panel the walls on the floor too. Then, I did 3 coats of polyurethane to finish it.
Then our uncle Dave who works with sheet metal hooked us up with re-covering the counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom.
He also made us a sweet new table top! Check it out!
OH, also we re-covered the nasty cushions!
Oh hey Zach.
Cees and I started re-covering the cushions ourselves one night, spent about 2 hours, went crazy, and decided to delegate the heinous project to a nice Chinese man we know who does upholstery work.
We also went to DI and got cool, old belts and made them into handle pulls for all the cupboards, and cabinets.
So things are coming along!
We hope that Vie will make it to San Francisco for Christmas!
