2016 was the 100 year anniversary of the National Park Service. To celebrate that, we set out to visit all 59 National Parks in one massive loop! We spent 10 months getting to all the parks that we could physically drive to. We still have to fly out to the island parks (i.e. Hawaii, American Samoa, and Virgin Islands). We are taking a break from the parks as we adjust to the new addition to the family, but will be setting off to the finish our goal this summer! Stay tuned for the final few parks!
We have put together a few things that we have found helpful, entertaining, or just generally informative as we live on the road - just in case there are other people out there who would like to take the #roadlife leap! We want to help others on their journey to find out if road life is really for them. We will try and keep it pretty real, and show both the ups and the downs (because, spoiler alert, road life isn't made up of only epic pictures and happy days). We want to share the moments we love, and also shed some light on the ones that almost did us in.
Our relationship was founded on a love of travel. We were actually introduced to each other because we both spent extended periods of time in Russia. We have been fortunate enough to see a lot of the world already, and can't wait to show more of it to our little one. We seem to always have a few travel plans down the line, and are always up for suggestions of where we should explore next!
