National Park 100 Year Anniversary

2016 was the 100 year anniversary of the National Park Service.  To celebrate that, we set out to visit all 59 National Parks in one massive loop!  We spent 10 months getting to all the parks that we could physically drive to.  We then took a 3 month break to have Baby Theo before we finished up the "island parks"  (i.e. Hawaii, American Samoa, and Virgin Islands). All in all it took us about a year and a half to get to all 59 parks. These protected places have forever changed our lives.  As we visited these wonders, we gained a new appreciation for our country.  We live in such a blessed land.  The parks system is truly America's Greatest Idea.  Feel free to read more here about how you can help keep these places preserved for future generations.
